India will square off with Pakistan once again in the Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday and this time around it would be in the Super-4 stage. The last time these two teams faced off in the group stages, India emerged triumphant by five wickets.
In that match, former India skipper Virat Kohli scored 35 runs off 34 balls and after the game, gave a signed jersey to Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf. Ahead of the Super-4 match against India, Haris talked about how big a player Kohli really is and how pleased he was to receive the jersey from the former Indian skipper.
Speaking at the pre-match conference in Dubai, Haris Rauf said, Virat Kohli is a big player, the way he has performed for his country in international cricket, he is a legend of the game. When you talk to him, you always learn a lot. He gave me a signed jersey, thanks to him. I had earlier spoken to him about getting a shirt, so he gave me after that match, it was really nice.”
Pakistan will treat India match just as another game, clarifies Haris Rauf
Ahead of the blockbuster clash against arch-rivals India in the Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf said that they are going to take their match against Men in Blue as any other game and added that he will try to bowl as many dot balls as he can.
“The way we played and fought in the last game against India and the way we played against Hong Kong we would like to carry on that momentum. You take time to adjust to the conditions. We take the game as a game only,” Haris Rauf said in a pre-match press conference
